The brief
Kiln lets small ceramic studios sell online without building their own shop. Most of the studios had beautiful work and bad photos.
What I did
I designed and built the marketplace in Framer, with a product page that works with phone photos: generous crops, a warm neutral background and type that stays out of the way.
A shop for each studio
Every studio gets its own page from the CMS, with its story, its kiln and its current stock.
What changed
120 studios were selling on Kiln by the end of the first year.
