The story

The story

The brief

Mira sells skincare in glass bottles you keep, and refills you buy again and again. The founders needed a brand that made the refill feel like the main product, not the cheap option.

What I did

I designed the refill pouch first. If the pouch looked good on a bathroom shelf, people would keep buying it. The bottles followed: one typeface, one size, a single blue stamp instead of gold foil, so the ingredients get the room.

A shop built around refills

The website treats the bottle as a one-time purchase and puts the refill subscription on every product page.

What changed

The first refill run sold out in nine days, and two out of three new customers now start on a subscription.
